Privacy Policy
This privacy policy explains how Solwex processes your personal data when you visit our website or contact us. We process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Law on Legal Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of Lithuania.
1. Data controller
The controller of your personal data is the company identified in our Legal Notice (company name, code and registered office). For any data protection matters, contact us at info@solwex.eu.
2. Data we collect
When you use our contact form, we collect the name, email address, phone number (if provided) and message you submit, in order to respond to your enquiry.
3. Legal basis and purpose
We process contact form data on the basis of your consent and in order to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR). The data is used solely to respond to your enquiry.
4. Data retention
Enquiry data is retained only as long as necessary to handle your request and to comply with applicable statutory retention periods, after which it is deleted.
5. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. You may also lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority — the State Data Protection Inspectorate (Valstybinė duomenų apsaugos inspekcija), L. 6. Cookies
This website uses only strictly necessary cookies required for it to function securely (for example, session and security cookies). For visitor statistics we use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics (self-hosted Matomo with anonymized IP addresses) that stores no cookies on your device, so no cookie consent banner is required. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect how the site works.
7. Solar calculator
For the calculation you enter your postcode and details of the building, roof and consumption. From the postcode we determine the area's coordinates and query the solar irradiation from PVGIS, a service of the European Commission's Joint Research Centre; only rounded coordinates and roof data are transmitted, no personal data. We do not store these details. If you request the PDF offer, we additionally process your name, email address and – if provided – phone number, address and message, your configuration and the result, as well as the time of consent and your IP address as proof of consent (Art. 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR). You first receive an email with a confirmation link (double opt-in); only after you confirm do we send the offer and contact you. Unconfirmed requests are deleted automatically after 30 days, confirmed ones as soon as they are no longer needed for handling your request and statutory retention periods. You can withdraw your consent at any time by email to info@solwex.eu.
