Frequently asked questions
The questions we are asked most often before a project starts.
What does a solar system cost, including installation?
The price of a solar system depends on its output, the roof type and how much mounting structure is required. Based on a short description of your roof area, orientation and the output you need, Solwex prepares a no-obligation fixed-price quote covering hardware, installation, wiring and grid connection.
How long does a solar installation take?
A typical system on a single-family house is installed by Solwex in one to three working days. Larger commercial and ground-mounted projects take from one to several weeks depending on scope. If the roof has to be renovated first, that usually adds two to five days.
Which roof types can Solwex install on?
Solwex installs on pitched roofs with clay or concrete tiles, on flat roofs using ballasted mounting, on trapezoidal and metal roofs of halls and barns, on greenhouses, and as ground-mounted systems on the property.
Which countries does Solwex work in?
Solwex is UAB „SOLWEX“, registered in Klaipėda, Lithuania, and works with its own installation crews. We work mainly in Germany and Lithuania; projects in other European countries are possible on request.
