Rooftop solar & roofing, done right

We install solar systems on every kind of roof — and make the roof itself sound before we do.

Our services in detail

Pick your project — each page explains the process, what to watch out for and the questions we hear most.

What every project includes

Solar panel installation

Complete photovoltaic systems on pitched and flat roofs of every covering — tiles, trapezoidal sheet and standing-seam metal — as well as east-west and ground-mounted arrays, fitted by our own crews and signed off with photo-documented quality checks.

Roof renovation & repair

Before the panels go on, we make the roof sound: renovating worn roofs, carrying out sheet-metal work and replacing rotten timber, so your system sits on a watertight, load-tested structure.

Mounting systems & substructure

Engineered substructures and fixings matched to your exact roof covering and to local wind and snow loads — the difference between a system that lasts 25 years and one that leaks.

Design & planning

System design tailored to your roof geometry, energy consumption and local regulations, with a clear cost and timeline estimate before work begins.

Grid connection & commissioning

End-to-end coordination with grid operators and authorities, plus commissioning, so your system is connected correctly and compliantly.

Maintenance & repair

Scheduled inspections, cleaning and fast fault repair — from loose connections to inverter failures — to keep output at its peak for years.

Roofs & surfaces we mount on

From a single-family home to open-field arrays, we install on virtually any surface.

Tiled roof

Pitched roofs with clay or concrete tiles and pan tiles, fixed with roof hooks that keep the covering watertight.

Frequently asked questions

The questions we are asked most often before a project starts.

Does Solwex renovate the roof before installing panels?

Yes. Solwex replaces worn timber and covering before the solar system goes up, so the system sits on a sound, watertight roof and the roof does not have to be renovated a few years later underneath an installed array.

Does Solwex handle the grid connection?

Yes. Solwex coordinates the connection with the responsible grid operator and carries it out according to the applicable rules, so customers deal with a single contractor for design, installation and commissioning.

How often does a solar system need maintenance?

An annual visual inspection covering wiring, fixings and yield data is enough for most systems. In dusty surroundings or on shallow pitches, panel cleaning is worth adding. Solwex offers both as recurring maintenance.

Does Solwex work as a subcontractor for other installers?

Yes. Solwex supplies experienced installation crews for projects run by other solar companies and general contractors, covering mounting structures, panel installation and DC wiring to their design.
